A Seamless Evening

Seven students — four boys, three girls, of vastly different nationalities and backgrounds — stay behind after school to prepare for the upcoming graduation ceremony. Some are there by choice. Some are there out of genuine goodwill. Some are serving detention and had no say in the matter. And some, for reasons that remain their own, simply showed up.

When the school is suddenly cordoned off by the island's paramilitary police without a word of explanation, the seven find themselves trapped inside, threatened with gunfire, and with nowhere to go but toward each other.

Cooperation comes slowly. Trust comes slower. And the longer they are locked in together, the clearer it becomes that they know far more about one another than any of them ever let on.
